Your mission, roles and responsibilities

FORVIA, the world’s 7th largest automotive technology supplier, designs and develops innovative technological solutions for safe and sustainable mobility.

Within FORVIA, the GIS – Global Information System organization is responsible for the Group’s global IT strategy, information systems architecture, and support of its digital transformation.

In this context, the Bavans site is recruiting a Cloud Engineer Apprentice (M/F) to contribute to Cloud projects and the modernization of the Group’s IT infrastructures.

As part of the GIS teams, the Cloud Engineer Apprentice will progressively be involved in the following activities:

• Participate in the design, deployment, and operation of Cloud environments (public, private, or hybrid)
• Contribute to the migration of applications and infrastructures to the Cloud
• Collaborate in the implementation of Cloud best practices (security, performance, cost optimization, automation)
• Participate in the industrialization of infrastructures (Infrastructure as Code, scripting, automation)
• Contribute to the support and continuous improvement of existing Cloud services
• Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Work closely with international teams in a multicultural environment

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education

• Student enrolled in an Engineering degree or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or Cybersecurity

Technical Skills (in progress or desired)

• Solid foundations in systems (Linux / Windows) and networks
• Strong interest in Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP…)
• Basic knowledge of virtualization and containerization (VMs, Docker, Kubernetes – a plus)
• Interest in security, automation, and DevOps topics
• Basic scripting or programming skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash – a plus)

Soft Skills

• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
• Growing autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility

 Languages

• Professional English required (minimum B1 / ideally B2)
