Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Purchasing Strategy & Supplier Panel Management
- Contribute to the development and deployment of the Group Indirect Purchasing strategy
- Spend analysis and strategy deployment monitoring
- Development and optimization of the supplier panel
- Identification of at-risk suppliers
- Define and deploy communication plans
Market Knowledge
- Conduct market studies
- Identify market trends and innovations
Sourcing & Project Management
- Contribution to and/or management of national and/or global projects
- Support RFQ/tender launches and follow-up
Negotiation
- Contribution to and/or management of commercial negotiations
- Tracking, calculation and validation of purchasing performance (savings)
Contracts
- Manage the deployment of Group contracts across regions
- Monitor contract implementation and conduct compliance audits
Reporting
- Overall project tracking and savings reporting
- Escalate key information to the right management level (plants, business groups, organization)
- Ensure proper information flow and alignment across the cross-functional team
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to and/or lead improvement and productivity plans (processes, standardization…)
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education & Experience
- Master's student, ideally but not mandatory a specialization in Purchasing
- Experience in a multinational company or in the automotive industry is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical mindset and pragmatic approach
- Excellent communication skills and international mindset
- Ability to manage priorities, work autonomously, with rigor and reliability
- Strong team player
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot
Additional Assets (optional)
- Knowledge of indirect purchasing
- Good understanding of financial management
- German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus
