Your mission, roles and responsibilities
BG Costing Digital Solutions Lead would support the cost competitiveness mission through the development and deployment of digital solutions and products that will drive process efficiency, cost accuracy and speed in all aspects of costing processes. The key responsibilities would include:
- Development of DIGICOST (Digital Costing Tool) with the role as Scrum Master to manage the Scrum process within agile development teams and responsible for efficient delivery of high-quality product and features in a timely manner. Facilitate scrum ceremonies, remove any obstacles to team progress, and provide leadership and guidance to team members to promote continuous improvement
- Work closely with product owner and all key stakeholders to ensure complete understanding of requirements and priorities for DigiCost deliveries.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, transparency and communications within the development team and other stakeholders.
- Monitor periodic team performance with timely feedback and willingness to intervene and find solutions. Timely risk assessments, mitigation and adherence to Scrum principles.
- Chart the digital path for costing including defining process automation needs along with respective process owners / methodologists for costing and finance function.
- Support process owners and costing community in translating business needs into framework for right digital tool identification and leading the development.
- Develop, customize key management reports/dashboards with use of Excel / Power query / Power BI / Data Foundry as per requirement.
- Data management and analysis using Excel / VBA / Macros / Power BI / Palantir Data foundry / relevant data analytics tools and processes. Manage Costing Sharepoint for efficient data management and information flow
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields with IT Service Management preferably worked at Level 2 with knowledge to make the link between business and experts (programmers, DevOps, Network, Server…)
- Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience, including atleast 3 years as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Certification as Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Expert in Process Automation tools (Excel VBA & Macros, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Knowledge of Angular/NodeJS/.NET software development practices and methodologies would be preferred.
- Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, Code Quality), experience with continuous delivery and DevOps practices is a plus
- Strong understanding of agile principles, values and experience using agile project management tools like JIRA, TRELLO or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of business processes in the automotive industry is preferred.
- International outlook and ability to interact with multiculture teams.
- Excellent communication, articulation, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Dynamic, proactive and quick thinker, organized, team worker, accurate in work deliverables.
- Ability to use IT tools and systems and knowledge of building sustainability specifics KPIs for global costing teams.
- Fluent in English. Working knowledge of French/German/Spanish preferred.
