Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Our GBS is looking for a Customs Trainee to be based in Santa Maria da Feira.

The main missions of the role are:

• Support the preparation and validation of necessary documentation for import and export processes;
• Ensure the updating and organization of customs records and documentation;
• To collaborate in the tariff classification of goods and verification of customs codes;
• Support the monitoring of processes with customs brokers, carriers, and customs authorities;
• Assist in monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to international trade;
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of documentary and operational discrepancies;
• To support the team in continuous improvement and process optimization activities;
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth flow of customs processes;
• • Support other administrative tasks inherent to the role.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Education level: Degree in business school linked with International Trade, Law, Management, Economics, International Relations, Logistics or similar areas;
• Good with computer skills (MS Office-Excel);
• Good communication skills and communicable in English;
• Interest in the area of ​​International Trade and Customs;
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in an international environment.
