Your mission, roles and responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting, Accounting & Compliance
  • Oversee the production of accurate statutory and management accounts, ensuring full compliance with local accounting standards, tax requirements, IFRS, and Group rules.
  • Supervise and ensure the smooth, timely, and high-quality execution of monthly closings, including review and distribution of financial results.
  • Lead semester and year-end closing processes, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners (auditors, advisors).
  • Maintain full responsibility for all financial records and procedures, including:
    • General accounting
    • Accounts receivable and payable
    • Tax accounting
    • Import/export financial processes
  • Ensure reconciliation and integrity of intercompany transactions and general ledger accounts.
  • Perform robust balance sheet reviews, identify risks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide reliable and timely financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
2. Shared Service Center Management & Performance
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the SSC accounting teams in alignment with SSC and Group objectives, fostering high performance, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Design, standardize, and continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Monitor SSC performance through defined KPIs, service level agreements, and productivity measures.
  • Review, assess, and enhance existing procedures to ensure:
    • Operational efficiency
    • Compliance with Group Policies
    • Alignment with best practices
  • Actively contribute to the SSC community, sharing best practices and driving harmonization across other SSCs.
3. Business Partnership & Cross-Functional Support
  • Identify and assess key tax and compliance risks at country level, working closely with Tax, Legal, and Cash Management teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating reviews of accounting systems, controls, and processes.
  • Partner with Business Group Controlling teams, providing strong financial expertise, policy guidance, and high-quality monthly reporting insights.
  • Play a critical role in:
    • Legal entity changes, mergers, carve-outs, or structural transformations within the SSC perimeter
    • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of accounting professionals, ensuring long-term capability building within Finance.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

  • Bachelor or Master Degree with a specialization in accounting
  • 5-8 years in a financial accounting supervisory experience with proven leadership and people management experience
  • CPA License
  • Strong background in accounting, finance, or audit within an SSC or multinational environment
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax principles, and internal controls and in ERP systems (SAP)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Change-oriented mindset with experience in process improvement and digital transformation
  • Fluent in English
