Your mission, roles and responsibilities
What is your role and surroundings?
Our Poland Region is looking for you as a VIE as Quality engineer for our Gorzow plant.
The VIE is a support member of the Program Core Team and Plant launch team. She/He has overall responsibility of supporting the achievement of quality deliverables during development and new product launch. He/She supports the Program Quality Leader (PQL) and Advanced Supplier Quality Leader (ASQ) tasks and represents the Customer Voice within the company and towards the customer, and internally with the others functions on quality matters.
What will be your main missions?
- Support the Program Quality Leaders general
- Optimization on current Program Quality processes and procedures
- Support on administrative Program Quality related items
- Coordination of Meisterbock activities in R&D centre and onsite production plant
- Preparation, completition and evaluation of the PPAP files for DAG & BMW
- Support of the program/plant quality engineer for the input of the initial samples documentation in the OEM system
- Tracking of the achievement for the initial samples
- Activities for APQP process in development + serial programs for instrument panel, center console and door panel
- Coordination and control of the program quality network: Advanced supplier quality engineer (ASQ) and plant quality engineer (PLQE)
- Implementation and maintance of regular communication with ASQ and PLQE
- Monitoring the activities with defined quality tools (e.g. Tiger, TDC, PPAP-list, DVP/PVP, gauge status, control plan, etc.)
- Support the PQL (program quality leader) in the preparation of TVR/PRC/GR with Palm
- Support PQL by managing Quality tasks with colleagues from India and China
- Support PQL activities for CQC (China Quality Certification) administration
- Support on serial quality items in the plants
- Track and Coordinate 8D Reporting (QRCI)
- Analyze data with Minitab and Six Sigma methods
- Support/Create the Boundary samples / Photo book
The mission will last in 12 months.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
What you need to join us?
- Master’s degree in engineering (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related), Quality specialization desirable
- Fluent English mandatory, French will be an advantage and Spanish desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive industry or similar manufacturing environment
- Willingness to travel within Europe in case of need
- 2 years of proven experience in the Automotive industry is a plus, (Previous positions such as Plant Quality Engineer, Process Engineer is an advantage…)
- Proven experience in problem solving, audits, customer contact
- Proven experience in program management is a plus

- Familiar with program management
- Good knowledge about Quality System Efficiency, would be appreciated.
- Supplier management experience will be an advantage
