Your mission, roles and responsibilities
- Ensure proper application and compliance with the Mexican Federal Labor Law and internal labor policies.
- Participate in the negotiation, administration, and revision of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and labor agreements.
- Maintain effective and professional communication with the labor union, addressing requests, negotiations, and commitments.
- Manage and follow up on individual and collective labor conflicts, grievances, disciplinary actions, and corrective measures.
- Represent or support the company in processes before Labor Conciliation Centers, Labor Courts, and other labor authorities.
- Advise management and leadership on labor practices, disciplinary actions, terminations, and labor risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with current labor reforms, including union democracy and collective agreement legitimization processes.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and labor relations metrics.
- Participate in labor audits, inspections, and legal compliance reviews.
- Promote a stable labor environment through open communication and constructive labor relations.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level:
- BA / BSc HR, business administration or related
- MA / MSc HR, business administration or related preferred
Professional Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in an operative HR role
- Strong knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law and labor regulations.
- Collective bargaining agreements, labor contracts, and internal work regulations.
- Union relations and collective bargaining processes.
- Labor authority procedures (conciliation, litigation, inspections)
Skills and competencies:
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Legal analysis and sound labor judgment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive situations.
- High ethical standards, confidentiality, and objectivity.
