In order to reinforce our CyberSecurity Projects team, we are looking for a Cyber Security / IT Security Project Engineer (m/f/d), preferably based in Hanover (Germany).


Ready for challenges that matter?


The main missions of the role are to:  

  • Implementation of the POCs and pilot installations of the solutions to be tested or rolled out (in cooperation with Security Architects and Security Operations Team)
  • Communication with other teams during the project phase (POC / 1st implementation), mainly with the
    • Architecture team to ensure the implementation of the defined basics
    • Security Operations Team to ensure the adoption of new systems / solutions already in the project
  • Preparation and execution of testing of agreed solutions (in collaboration with architects and Security Operations Team)
  • Communication with non-security teams (GISO / ITOP) for the implementation of POCs or initial implementation of solutions
  • Development of documentation and processes for the Security Operations team, in preparation for the handover of new solutions
  • Development of training and guidelines for the Security Operations team for new solutions
  • Support of the handover process for new solutions to the Security Operations Team
  • Support 3rd level support for implemented solutions, by actively building knowledge during the project phase

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Degree in the IT field
  • Several years of relevant work experience (at least 3 years)
  • Knowledge in the area of IT security and related solutions and systems
  • Willingness to learn new skills in the area of IT security
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken (English mandatory, other languages as addon)
  • Strong ability to work in a team (inside and outside the CyberSecurity team)
  • Autodidactic skills
  • Personal resilience
  • Willingness to travel, also intercontinental (up to 15%)
