• The Manufacturing & Launch manager is responsible to create an strategic analysis for decision making on capacity, investment and footprint issues at the regional level, making sure the production process is staying on budget and setting financial and production-related goals for the company.
• Coordinate Maintenance roadmpas for specific technlogies and drive activites for CO2 reduction.
• Drive operational readiness to ensure successful launches
• Organize frequent reviews with Plant Launch Team and Program Core Team ensuring appropriate action plans and follow up until achieving a green MPT and non-event launch for customer deliveries
• Give operational support to troubled programs, supporting the resolution of problems during the launch phases.
• Contribute to the arbitration of issues between program and operations where needed, with the clear objective of protecting the SOP.
• Participate in the Program Review Committees to assure compliance of the programs in development with Faurecia Launch Rules and to ensure the preparation of the downstream phases of the programs.
• Define based on a risk assessment criterion a short list of critical programs requiring special management attention and providing level of escalation needed
• Participate at the key TVRs of selected programs to ensure preparation and readiness of the launch activities.
• Assure the correct tracking of CAPEX & Launch cost to achieve budget
• Support the Technology Massification and standardization within the region
• Participate on Layouts definition and footprints strategy based on white books principles and lean design guidelines from the group.
