Job title: Y.E.S Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Graduate
Location: Pretoria (Rosslyn)
Reporting to: ME Manager
Contract: 12 Months Contract

Main purpose of the role
The ME Graduate is responsible for ensuring an optimum process to support the production line, by Supporting the FMEA’s, process flow diagrams, standard manufacturing operations to produce parts that meet the customer specification at all times using Faurecia standards and tools. The key responsibility of ME Grad is to Maintain & Create & Audit accurate BOM & Master data and ensure smooth and efficient process execution.

As a ME Graduate, your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Participate review process FMEA’s.
- Participate review process flow diagrams.
- Participate in SREA’s submissions.
- Maintain manufacturing process documents for newly implemented machines.
- Support processes by supporting continuous improvement and production through participation to the process specialist network.
- Maintain BOM & Master data in line with cycle time in line with takt time and standard operations to establish manufacturing routines by releasing manufacturing process documents and process flowcharts.
- Support in industrialisation trials and Run-at-Rate
- Participate in plant lay-out update.
- Ensure continuous improvement by capitalizing on lessons learnt and provide best practices using tools like; process productivity analysis, improvements action plans, production equipment performance, trouble shooting and problem-solving process.
- Ensure FES & HSE standards & processes are always met/ followed.

Qualifications and position requirements:
Qualifications and experience requirements:
- National Diploma equivalent qualification in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in an automotive industry will be advantages.
The ideal graduate should have:
- Knowledge of productivity and Lean Management methodologies
- Experience on computer systems
- Excellent people and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of supplier audit processes and quality management systems
- Must be between 18 and 35 years of age
- Must not have previously participated in the Y.E.S Youth Program
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
