Your mission, roles and responsibilities

 

Provide manufacturing engineering support to assigned UAPs, in addition to implementing improvements and ensuring that staff are trained in their respective specialties.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

Manage and maintain stable processes within your specialty.
Resolve daily issues related to equipment, processes, and suppliers.
Make recommendations for new programs.
Participate in the validation of tooling and equipment.
Participate in the sign-off of equipment.
Monitor prototype manufacturing.
Provide support to production.
Analyze, develop, and validate process modifications.
Ensure the application of standards. Identify best practices.
Make equipment modifications to increase efficiency.
Identify production capacity.
Maintain a database of tooling and capacities.
Train production staff. Identify and eliminate risks associated with machinery and equipment within your specialty.
Comply with and promote the code of ethics.
Comply with and promote the management code.

 

Your profile and competencies to succeed

 

Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Related Field (degree holder or intern)
Advanced English
Experience: 5 years in the automotive industry. Certified technical skills in product processes within your specialty. Experience in MIG welding and resistance welding.

 

Required Knowledge

 

MIG welding.
MAG welding.
Laser welding.
Robot operation.
GD&T.
AMEF
ISO 14001:2015.
ISO 45001:2018
VDA 6.3.
IATF 16949 (general knowledge).
Implementation and deployment of continuous improvements (Hoshin, waste hunting).
Proficiency in design software.
Knowledge of programming logic (PLCs).
Knowledge of Core Tools.
