Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The role of the Safety and Regulation Coordinator is to ensure the implementation of quality methods at the plant in order to deliver products that meet requirements based on qualified processes. These methods are based on FES, standard processes, and principles of prevention and continuous improvement.
Ensure, through S/R audits, that the appropriate tools to meet requirements are in place
Coordinate improvement plans in line with the objectives committed to for their scope
Audit production lines against standards
Compile and analyze S/R audit results to identify top offenders and systemic failures requiring correction
Ensure the plant’s compliance with FES, safety and regulatory requirements, and automotive standards
Train and raise awareness among staff on S/R issues
Ensure compliance with corrective actions implemented for previous S/R incidents
Development and execution of an audit plan for preventive monitoring.
Review of the PSR Matrix for new projects
Provide support and advise quality engineers on safety and regulatory matters
Guide teams in investigations when a safety and regulatory incident occurs
Use the AMS system to trigger alerts in the event of safety and regulatory incidents
Monitor AMS alerts to ensure timely resolution
Design and implementation of a task force for the most affected areas
Participate in the AMEF review
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in the Automotive industry or metalworking industry (preferred)
Quality systems.
Product safety and automotive industry regulations.
Required knowledge:
8D, 5 Whys / Problem-Solving Tools.
Knowledge of seating products
Knowledge of laser welding processes
Knowledge of fastening processes
Knowledge of riveting processes
Knowledge of stamping/bending processes
Knowledge of welding processes
Core Tools (AMEF, CP, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA)
Knowledge of CSR (Customer Specific Requirements)
Knowledge of IATF 16949
Extensive knowledge of Production Quality Systems.
QSE/8 Quality Basics
Advanced English
