Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Join FORVIA, we are looking for an experienced HSE & Property Security Coordinator to lead and coordinate Health, Safety, Environment, and Property Security activities within our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, protecting company assets, managing security risks, and maintaining industry certifications and security standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, incident prevention, emergency preparedness, risk management, and security operations while supporting business continuity and operational excellence.

As HSE, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure adherence to Group's HSE rules and requirements.
  • Develop and implement the HSE Management system, leading its review with the management committee.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, assess site compliance, and propose continuous improvement themes.
  • Drive HSE culture through tools, key indicators, and cross-functional projects.
  • Lead self-assessment of site compliance, identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and ensuring follow-up.
  • Participate in accident or incident analysis, determine corrective and preventive actions, and oversee their implementation.
  • Conduct HSE audits, propose actions, and track action plans for improvement.
  • Organize and participate in periodic regulatory verifications and emergency preparedness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a proactive and autonomous HSE approach.

Work Relationships:
Internal Relations:

  • Collaborate with HSE site service, management committee, CSSCT representatives, and the broader HSE network.
  • Engage with internal medical services (if applicable) and occupational medicine.

External Relations:

  • Interact with service providers and external auditors.

As Property Security, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and maintain site security programs to safeguard people, assets, facilities, information, and company reputation.
  • Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with security certifications and standards, including C-TPAT and OEA requirements.
  • Manage site access control systems, visitor management, CCTV, and security monitoring operations.
  • Coordinate third-party security service providers and guard force activities.
  • Lead investigations related to security incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics security audits.Maintain effective relationships with government agencies, law enforcement, and industrial park administration.
  • Support crisis management and security contingency plans.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

  • Master's degree or higher (Bac+5) with a specialization in HSE and/or equivalent significant experience in an industrial environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Security Management, or related field. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing HSE and/or Industrial Security.

Professional Experience: 

  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of the tools and methodologies HSE necessary to evaluate and prevent the safety and environmental risks and impacts: risk analysis, data collection, problem solving, etc., 
  • Knowledge of the national regulations and standards specific to the scope of his activity, 
  • Internal auditor in terms of HSE management systems.
  • Knowledge of HSE Management Systems, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
  • Experience managing security programs, access control systems, CCTV, and security operations.Knowledge of C-TPAT, OEA, and security compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading audits and working with regulatory authorities. 
  • Intermediate to Advanced English.
