Your mission, roles and responsibilities

We’re hiring a Production Quality Engineer. You’ll work on challenges that matter.
This job will require you to:
• Carry out the role of representation of the Client
• Leader of activities and coaching of plant personnel
• Maintain approved criteria between the Client and the UAP
• Ensure the application of the Control Plan
• Stop the process and shipments in case the Safety and/or Quality of the products is affected
• Meeting specific customer requirements
• Maintenance of the External and Internal Customer Portals
• Communication with Residents & Clients and taking actions in any area of opportunity
• Train the operational staff of the UAP in the principles of Quality (Operators, GL and SV)
• Maintenance of Quality documents, Control Plan and monitoring of AMEF with Process Engineer
• Ensure that all Customer claims (Int and Ext) are answered in a timely manner through 8Ds
• Keep the UAP and Quality Management informed about the problems in the area
• Help lead continuous improvement activities
• Preparation of documents (Final Control Instructions, Visual Aids, Quality Alerts, etc.)
• Management of all Customer claims and monitoring until closing
• Customer Liaison Management, when applicable. Follow-up on actions, 8Ds for reported issues
• Lead PPAP by issues of Engineering or process change, customer requirement
• Update documentation due to engineering changes

Your profile and competencies to succeed

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:
• Industrial engineer degree or similar.
• Advanced English.
• 3 years’ experience as quality engineer.
• Customer Scorecard
• Statistical tools for process control (control charts, calculation of Cp and Cpk)
• Preparation and interpretation of Control Plan and FMEA
• Interpretation of dimensional reports
• Audits to the quality management system
• CQI-23 Special Process: Molding System Assessment preferred
• IATF 16949:2016 preferred
• Core Tools preferred
• Problem Solving Methodology preferred
