Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Faurecia Clarion Electronics, part of the Europe Division, designs, manufactures, and sells high‑technology electronic products for major European automotive manufacturers.
We are now looking for our new serial-life quality coordinator for our plant in Nagykáta, Hungary—an industrial site of around 400 employees, located approximately 50 km (about 45 minutes) from Budapest.
The serial-life quality coordinator serves as the main Quality representative within the core team for all programs already in mass production.
Part of your role will include:
- Actively participate in the deployment of Engineering/Process Change Requests.
- Assess quality impact resulting from internal/external change requests (Customer APQP impact / Product qualification impact/ Tier N qualification impact)
- Ensure the application of customer requirements related to Mass Production (MP) quality topics.
- Validate the inspection instructions according to the control plan update (e.g. final inspection instructions, ok 1st part instruction,…).
- Ensure adherence to quality standards (based on Control Plan, PFMEA, Standardize Work,….) during serial life production
- Jointly manage the customer annual audit with the plan team
- Supervise the Safe launch dispositive and monitor results
- Create/ validate of Process qualification plan / line validation in case of changes of existing production lines
- Review all quality records in accordance with the control plan (ok 1st part,.…).
- Ensure conformity of 8 Quality Basics for all serial life products
- Actively participate in the 8D problem solving
- Update weekly PCN indicators and lead quality risk assessments
- In case of non-conformance, ensure deployment of containment actions: with respect of standard TQW and corrective actions.
- Hold the authority to stop change implementation and escalation to the Quality Manager when necessary.
- Provide trainings to others on Quality related topics (focus on change management / Customer APQP)
- Perform other serial -life tasks assigned by his/her superior(s)
- Contribute to building lessons learned related to serial life topics with emphasis on RD impacts .
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive industry, preferably in Quality / Supplier Management roles.
- Experience in managing APQP, PPAP, Process and Customer Audits, Run@Rates
- Practical experience with quality tools like, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA/Gauge R&R, Capability studies, SPC,
- Working experience in problem solving tools like, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, Six Sigma
- Proven technical skills on products and processes. Electronic skills would be plus.
Skills and competencies
- Fluent English (minimum B2, ideally C1) and Hungarian are must. Other 3rd language is an plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously & in a matrix organization,
- Team player
- Open mindset for challenges with a can-do attitude
- Practical knowledge of Windows and MS Office tools. SAP and Minitab knowledge is an advantage
- Flexibility for business travel
- Team leading experience
