We are looking for an Industrial Design for Energy&CO2 intern to join our teams!
Our Group Energy & CO2 Neutrality team is looking for an Industrial Design for Energy&CO2 intern for its headquarters in Nanterre.
The internship will take place at the Nanterre site (92000), which is FORVIA's headquarters. Travel within France or abroad may be required during the course of the mission.
The internship will be affiliated with the Energy Efficiency & CO2 Neutrality team at Forvia. The various internships tasks will aim to directly or indirectly contribute to achieving our decarbonization objectives:
- Carbon Neutrality in scope 1 & 2 by 2025
- Carbon Neutrality across all scopes by 2045
Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Your missions:
- Develop Guidelines & Standard Action Plans to up-grade Machine & Process for Energy Efficiency and CO2 neutrality. You will interact with plant process experts and Engineering teams in all product lines. Purpose: Support group ambition to reduce Energy Intensity by 30% by 2030.
- Lead a project of Development of a Digital Monitoring tool (on Palantir Foundry Environment) to monitor & compare Processes performance per type of process leveraging Big-data available and IOT connectivity in place.
- Cooperate with Engineering to have Machine & Process specifications up-graded
- Develop IOT connectivity guidelines to extend connectivity to the just needed to be able to detect opportunities of saving and monitor progress of improvement actions.
- Lead projects, Present results, Train Users on Methods and Tools.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Generalist Engineering school, Energy Management background/specialty,
- A good engineering background.
- Good understanding of Thermodynamics and Energy
- Proficient in English and in French. Ability to adapt to an international environment.
- Autonomous (Many decisions will be dependent on your input).
- Communicative (Numerous Weekly meeting with Process experts and BG CO2 leaders).
- Digital Development skills is a plus
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry is a plus
- Good knowledge of the industrial world, preferably in the automotive sector is a plus.
