Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The Team Leader Accounting is responsible for leading and overseeing the accounting team. This role ensures accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and US local requirements, full compliance with Faurecia Core Procedures (FCP), and proper implementation of new accounting standards. The position also acts as a strategic business partner, drives audit readiness, and ensures strong balance sheet governance.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead, develop, and supervise accounting teams across the Interiors division
• Ensure alignment of accounting processes, controls, and deliverables across the team
• Foster a high-performance culture with strong collaboration and accountability
• Ensure accurate financial reporting compliant with IFRS and NIF requirements
• Ensure compliance with Faurecia Core Procedures (FCP)
• Ensure financial transactions are compliant and supported by proper documentation
• Review and interpret financial guidelines
• Ensure general ledger reliability, accuracy, and transparency
• Ensure all general ledger account reconciliations are reviewed monthly
• Consolidate Risks and Opportunities of the Balance Sheet and communicate to upper management
• Lead and coordinate balance sheet governance across sites
• Lead and participate in technical accounting matters
• Review technical accounting position papers on complex commercial transactions
• Provide recommendations to ensure accounting accuracy and compliance
• Support internal and external audits and coordinate requests
• Coordinate and prepare the financial statements under IFRS and NIF.

Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Minimum education level: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Master’s in Accounting preferred
Experience :
• 3-5 years of professional experience, required
• Experience managing or supervising teams
• Automotive industry experience, highly preferred
Skills and competencies:
• SAP advanced expertise Finance module required.
• Experience with METIS, Magritte, SmartView, and Tagetik
• Advanced English proficiency
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS required
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
• Excellent communication skills, including interaction with senior management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• High level of ownership and accountability
• Willingness to travel 5-10% (approximately)
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
