Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The role of a Customer Quality Manager is to be the privileged interlocutor of the customer and production, to participate in the implementation of the necessary actions to meet customer satisfaction and to allow production to guarantee the quality of the products.
The main missions related to the function are as follows:
• Guarantee the quality of the products delivered after the incident
• Ensure relations with customers by being their Direct Quality contact (collect and respond to their needs, requirements, complaints, present PPAP Quality files , annual requalification, control report, monitoring plan, participate in COMEX and COMTEC at customers' sites)
• Participate in Quality, QRCI meetings and communicating customer results and requirements
• Lead corrective actions by initiating action plans, ensuring their follow-up, defining priorities and developing prevention
• Participate in the Retex (feedback on experience) / FMEA (analysis of modes, effects and criticality of failures) of new products
• Pilot and manage the monitoring of sorting costs
• Be responsible for the responses provided to customers, respecting deadlines (QSS, alert, customer portal, AMS..)
• Participate in the continuous quality improvement process (meetings, AI, etc.)
Your profile and competencies to succeed
• Knowledge of Quality in production, processes, products, standards,Group and internal procedures (PPAP, QSS, Magellan, AMS, etc.)
• Knowledge of reading plans and ISO dimensioning
• Knowledge of the IATF standard as well as quality and quality approach methodologies problem solving (type 8D and QRCI)
• Knowledge of the processes of the subcontracted parts
• Knowledge of partnering and negotiating with customers
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
• Engineer degree or equivalent
• 5 years of professional experience
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Good knowledge of Production Quality
• Process orientation
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in customer relations
• Minimum bilingualism (English required)
