Forvia Interiors is looking for an International Tax Manager to be based in Nanterre, France.
ROLE PURPOSE
The International Tax Manager acts as the in-house tax reference for several jurisdictions with punctual support to regions. The role coordinates tax compliance, reporting, advisory and risk management, ensures implementation of company tax policies, and provides pragmatic support to local Finance teams and the business. The position works closely with the Interiors Tax Director, Transfer Pricing, Finance, Legal, Treasury and external advisors.
KEY MISSIONS
- Coordinate corporate tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filings, payments and supporting documentation.
- Manage tax audits, authority requests and controversy matters, coordinating defence files, external advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Implement company tax policies, governance, internal controls and documentation standards across the covered countries.
- Support transfer-pricing implementation and documentation.
- Advise on the tax impact of financing, dividends, cash repatriation, restructuring, supply-chain changes and other business initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage external tax advisors, including scope, quality, deadlines and budget.
- Prepare concise tax reporting, risk dashboards and escalation materials for the Interiors Tax Director and Finance leadership.
- Provide punctual international tax support to regions based on business priorities and Tax function needs.
- Build tax awareness and strengthen collaboration with local Finance, Legal, Treasury, HR and business teams.
- Assess how existing and upcoming tax laws and regulations will impact the businesses.
EXPERIENCE
8+ years of relevant experience in corporate tax, international tax or tax advisory within a multinational or professional-services environment. Demonstrated exposure to multi-country tax matters, compliance, tax audits and cross-border transactions is required. Experience in Asia and/or South America, and in an industrial or automotive environment, is strongly valued.
EDUCATION
Master’s degree or equivalent level in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or Law. A professional tax or accounting qualification is an asset.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong corporate and international tax knowledge, including direct, indirect and withholding taxes.
- Good understanding of transfer-pricing principles, intercompany transactions and documentation requirements.
- Ability to manage tax audits, external advisors and local tax stakeholders across several jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical, risk-assessment and documentation skills, with high attention to detail.
- Business-oriented advisory approach, balancing compliance, risk and operational priorities.
- Effective stakeholder management across Finance, Legal, Treasury, HR and business teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural and matrix environment and to prioritize support across countries.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
