Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities and duties:
At the heart of three core dimensions — Organization & Business, Leaders, and Talents — the Talent and Organization Development Manager ensure organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and sustainable talent pipelines to support short-, mid-, and long-term business challenges.
The main missions of the role are:
Organization & Business - The TOD Manager ensures proper organizational design and talent reservoir management to support business strategy.
• Develop and implement the Strategic Workforce & Organization Plan
• Drive organizational design aligned with roles, responsibilities, required skills, and operating model
• Build and maintain a clear overview of: Talent reservoirs, Performance levels, Succession plans, High potentials
• Anticipate business challenges (short-, mid-, long-term) and assess their impact on organizational needs
• Build a roadmap to align Business requirements, Talent acquisition strategy, Reinforcement plans, Organization effectiveness
• Lead Talent Acquisition & external reinforcement planning
• Manage succession planning and internal talent pools
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives
Talent Development - The TOD Manager ensures individual performance and long-term development of employees.
• Drive the Performance Management process
• Identify and validate high potentials and ultimate potential
• Lead Individual Development Plan processes
• Design individualized career trajectories
• Conduct regular career interviews and development follow-ups
• Activate the right development actions aligned with both employee aspirations and business needs
• Develop internal successors and the next generation of leaders at all levels
• Ensure strong intimacy with talents (listen, observe, anticipate expectations)
• Manages VIE within all worldwide perimeter
Leadership Development - The TOD Manager partners closely with business leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Develop leaders in alignment with the Leadership Competency Model and company values
• Enable leaders to face current and future business challenges
• Strengthen leaders as People Developers
• Support leaders in building effective, diverse, and high-performing teams
• Foster leadership engagement and inspirational management
Operations Support - The TOD Manager supports Division HR Director and HR sites managers to support operational efficiency.
• Participate in the Strategic planning and budget elaboration in link with HR division controlling
• Ensure the deployment of FES EE standards within the perimeter
• Support HR managers in deployment of Restructuring plan
• Foster team connections within division between all entities
Internal Relations
• Report hierarchically to Division HR Director
• Report functionally to BG TOD Director
• Collaborates with Group HR functions (Talent Acquisition, TOD, C&B, …)
• Collaborates with all Directors, Managers, Engineers and Technicians at all levels in the organization
• Support site 1st line and Managers
External Relations
• Schools / Campus
• Training and Coaching organizations
• Business France for VIE Management
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in Talent Management, Organisational Development, or HR Business Partner roles
- Proven experience in business partnering, succession planning and talent reviews within a complex organisation
