Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The role of a Assistant Plant Controller is to monitor site activity level on a regular basis and to guarantee the accuracy of selling prices towards customers in line with sales negotiations and commercial claims to secure the plant's financial performance and competitiveness.
The main missions of the role are to:
Price Management :
▪ Follow selling prices evolution on regular basis.
▪ Monitor gaps between selling prices in system and Purchase Orders from customer, and also vs. Self Billing Invoices from customers.
▪ Be key contact person to sales team to manage & solve price discrepancies.
▪ Pilot weekly reviews with sales of open issues (retrobilling, price corrections, open commercial negotiations)
▪ Participate in Engineering Change Requests reviews to make sure any change is done at the best economical advantage for the plant and follow corresponding implementation in prices with sales team. Monitor ECR financing performance.
▪ Control retrobilling activity from customer and make sure that related price changes are known for implementation on purchasing side.
▪ Follow non mandated parts margin on regular basis.
▪ Control correctness of self billing invoices vs. internal deliveries, and follow not paid parts with customer & sales team.
▪ Calculate & report monthly sales performance for the site.
▪ Employee is informed about Code of ethics, Code of Management and Being Faurecia philosophy and is respecting and following it
Monthly closing & budget :
▪ Manage sales monthly closing in all aspects (volume analysis vs. forecast per program, average price analysis based on takerates, cut off calculation for sales & FG stock in transit, booking of necessary sales provisions & accruals)
▪ Main Contributor to the Budget & forecasts processes with volumes / sales / Added Value calculations.
▪ Monthly reporting in reporting system & group official reports for his/her perimeter in respect of deadlines.
▪ Main contributor to the Budget and the Strategic plan (5 years budget) process
Program activities :
▪ Collect relevant data from the plant to support first Business Plan simulations for new program fro RFQs
▪ Identify and explain the main differences between the BP and the Start of Production (SOP)+6 months situation.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education
▪ Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree, Masters degree in Finance or Master in Economics (or equivalent) or in Science with proven financial knowledge
Professional experience (years and area of experience)
▪ 2 to 5 years of professional experience in finance / controlling environment
▪ Industrial experience and strong accounting knowledge (automotive a plus)
Professional knowledge
▪ Czech legislation and legal requirements
▪ Strong sense of teamwork
▪ Business minded
▪ Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
▪ Computer literate
▪ Self-starter
Language knowledge level
▪ English fluent for daily communication on a profesional level
PC skills
▪ MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
