Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of a Cost Controller Senior is to guarantee the price management of the plant between selling prices towards customers and purchasing prices with suppliers, in order to avoid any negative price discrepancy, in a context of mandated suppliers by our customers, that would affect the plant's financial performance and competitiveness. 

The main missions of the role are:

Price Management :
▪    Follow purchasing prices evolution on regular basis.
▪    Monitor squeeze impacts between sales & purchasing prices (any change on customer prices should be reflected on supplier side for mandated).
▪    Follow supplier invoicing prices and track discrepancies with Finance Shared Services Centers for appropriate actions towards suppliers (communication to suppliers, blocked payments, request for credit notes, etc.).
▪    Control retrobilling activity from customer and manage mirror activity of retrobilling calculation to suppliers.
▪    Validate payment proposals to suppliers after review of potential blocked invoices, monitoring of AP balances of suppliers.
▪    Key site person to secure no loss on price management (millions of euros involved).
▪    Employee is informed about Code of Ethics, Code of Management and Being Faurecia philosophy and is respecting and following it

Monthly closing & budget :
▪    Manage material consumption monthly closing in all aspects (GRNI review, stock valuation analysis, stock depreciation, analytical review vs. budget & forecasts of variances including price related gaps, standard analysis, booking of necessary provisions & accruals).
▪    Calculate stock in transit and reconcile intercompany positions for sales / material.
▪    Monthly closing of squeeze impact sales vs. material.
▪    Update price master data in SAP system.
▪    Contribute  to the Budget process in his/her perimeter.
▪    Monthly reporting in reporting system & group official reports for his/her perimeter in respect of deadlines.

Other duties :
▪    Follow special seats / prototypes deliveries, prepare related invoicing, and control corresponding margin.
▪    Contribute to system improvements in his/her perimeter
▪    Be force of proposition and contribute to Internal Control Basics breakthrough at site level.
▪    Specific analyses upon request.
▪    Guarantee the accuracy of the accounting and financial information for the plant according to the Group, Business Group and Division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules, Code of ethics & Being Faurecia philosophy

Reports to :
▪    Plant Controller direct reporting line.
▪    Main contact with sales & purchasing departments back offices in Germany & Poland for achieving targeted.
▪    Key site contact for FSSC for AP management.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education
•    Masters or Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent 

Professional experience (years and area of experience)
•    At least 2 years of professional experience in finance / controlling environment
•    Industrial experience and strong accounting knowledge (automotive a plus)  

Professional knowledge 
•    Czech legislation and legal requirements
•    Strong sense of teamwork  
•    Business minded  
•    Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills  
•    Computer literate
•    Self-starter

Language knowledge level (e.g.fluent for daily communication on a proffesional level, intermidiate for internal communication, basic communication within the team, technical terminology knowledge, as an advantage but not necessary) 
•    English     fluent for daily communication on a profesional level                   
•    Czech – as an advantage

PC skills
•    MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
•    SAP
