Your mission, roles and responsibilities
As a VIE PC&L Improvement Coordinator, your mission is to support the deployment of Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) standard tools and best practices across the division. Your scope will cover both internal and external flows, including physical and informational logistics, depending on divisional priorities.
You will contribute to :
- Enhancing safety and ergonomics in PC&L activities
- Optimizing inventory (value, days on hand, % of sales)
- Improving productivity across logistics costs (labor, transport, equipment)
- Streamlining internal logistics flows
Time Allocation :
- 40% Division support: daily support to the Division PC&L Director (analysis, reporting…)
- 40% Shopfloor activities: implementing new logistics flows, digital tools, coordination,
- 20% Data analysis using Palantir.
Key Responsibilities
- Work autonomously and manage priorities effectively
- Implement action plans and ensure measurable results
- Communicate and promote improvement initiatives
- Train and coach plant employees; lead progress workshops
- Support shopfloor management in deploying PC&L tools
- Provide technical support across functions
- Identify and implement best practices
- Ensure knowledge capitalization and use of standard documentation
- Develop, test, and implement new tools
- Contribute to HSE and ergonomics improvements on the shopfloor
- Support packaging improvements to reduce transport costs
- Assist with inventory reduction and stock accuracy initiatives
- Perform analyses and calculations to support management decisions
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
- Experience in operations, production, or supply chain is a plus
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)
- Strong customer orientation, leadership, team spirit, autonomy, flexibility, and agility
