Overall responsibilities and duties:
The main mission of a VIE Deputy Program Manager at FORVIA is to support the development and execution of project plans, ensuring effective communication, risk management, and timely delivery of resources and milestones. He/she also assists in achieving financial targets and maintaining compliance with contractual and organizational standards.
The main missions of the role are:
- Act as the interface between the core team and the plant throughout the different project phases and participate on regular basis core team,
- Support production management and monitoring in collaboration with the PPTL (Program Plant Team Leader) and IPL (Industrial Program Leader), (industrialization phase, management, implementation, run at rate organization),
- Actively participate in customer audits and customer visits at the plant and ensure organization support,
- Establish the program schedule and ensure its follow-up with the Program Manager,
- Collect and regularly update the program documentation (program dashboard, PLR – Program Launch Report, launch performance monitoring reports, and KPI indicators, business Plan, risk and opportunity analysis) for the Program Manager, and lead review meetings on these topics, when necessary,
- Manage work package documentation to ensure program deliverables and contribute to success of program targets,
- Support ECR (Engineering Change Request) routines and implementation,
- Ensure coordination between all functions such as Quality for validation, Logistics for production management, etc.,
- Support the Program Controller in the development of the business plan,
- Support industrialization activities during reception of the new machine and tooling including collection of relevant document (such as acceptance protocol and machine documentation)

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Master’s degree in engineering/economics/management.
Skills and competencies
- Group Dynamics and Relationship Management: Awareness of team dynamics and effective relationship management, especially in larger teams.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: High level of oral and written communication skills, along with being organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks. Able to prepare executive presentation.
- Planning and Problem Solving: Ability to set clear, measurable goals and solve problems effectively.
Strong knowledge of program management process of the automotive industry.
8D methodology and preferable more detailed tools (5W2H, Ishikawa, …).
- Time Management and Quality Assurance: Emphasis on managing time efficiently without compromising on quality.
- Negotiation and Diplomacy: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle issues with diplomacy and tact.
- Attention to Detail and Data Analysis: Keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data accurately.
- Tools: Program Management tools and MS Office (Excel and Power Point).
- English: Fluent in English and able to understand and speak good business English.
