Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The main missions of the role are:

  • Own overall manufacturing strategy and delivery for assigned programs from acquisition through stable production

  • Act as the senior manufacturing authority and primary interface with Program Management, Product Engineering, plants, customers, and suppliers

  • Lead design‑to‑manufacturing and industrialization strategy through concurrent engineering and manufacturability governance

  • Define and govern Manufacturing Validation Plans (MVP), prototypes, and industrial readiness reviews

  • Direct development, costing, and deployment of production systems using Lean, CAPEX, and Group standards

  • Govern engineering changes, industrial risks, FMEA, and make‑or‑buy decisions across the program lifecycle

  • Lead production readiness, PPAP, Run @ Rate, and launch execution across involved plants

  • Ensure achievement of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance targets, including margin and investment commitments

  • Drive cross‑functional alignment and decision‑making across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, and Engineering

  • Monitor program performance, risks, and milestones, ensuring disciplined reporting and on‑time delivery

 

Your profile and competencies to succeed


Qualifications: 

Minimum education level:  Bachelor's degree in any related engineering field.

Experience: 

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing Engineer/ Launch Management from Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) is required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Lean Manufacturing & production system design

    • Concurrent engineering and DFM/DFA

    • PPAP, Run @ Rate, MVP, FMEA

    • CAPEX management and manufacturing costing

  • Experience working with multi-plant or regional manufacturing environments

  • Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization

  • Good command of English for technical and program communication
