Job Description:
FCE, Program Quallity Leader
- Coordinate the Program Quality function for a global program between several regions or Product Lines:
- ensure capitalization of experience from previous programs
- ensure that best practices are shared within all regions about Program Management System (PMS) deliverables, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), product quality issues, lessons learned, shop-floor solutions, Bought Part issues with potential impacts on the customer, etc.
- Arbitrate issues between global and local content about Design Validation Plan and specifications for Measurement devices.
- support Advanced Supplier Quality Function activities with a global supplier when there is a global quality issue affecting the customer
- ensure the coordination/animation of Program Quality Engineer (weekly review)'
- report regional (or Product Line) quality status to the Program Manager.
- If required, substitute for a local Program Quality Engineer (PQE) if mandatory deliverables in country are missing (i.e., Quality Target Study etc.)
- Represents the Customer Voice within the company and ensure leadership when needed with the customer and internally with the others functions on quality matters.
- Focus on specific critical items managed by other Program Core Team functions in order to ensure a successful launch and customer satisfaction throughout all regions:
- Design validation Plan: Analyze consistency, and possibility to use tests results from other region
- Failure Mode Analysis s and Control Plan: Ensure alignment and best practice sharing
- Appearance Approval: Ensure that the very first customer approval for appearance is available for all regions
- Perceived Quality: Coordinate understanding about internal quality issues and customer complaints
- Convergence Plan: Support convergence planning and ensure overall coordination
- Process Robustness: Ensure alignment about Key Control Characteristics, Poka Yoke, Standard Work, Process Capabilities.
- Risk Assessment: Manage the risk assessment process with a focus on Poka Yoke, Final Inspection and Temporary Quality Wall
- Global Alignment: Manage regular reviews with all PQLs/QE to ensure alignment and best practice sharing
- Take the leadership to uphold the commitment to CoE, CoM and other internal compliance policy in the responsible team and relevant business partners to ensure that it is distributed to all employees and that each employee adheres to it.
Requied skills and qualification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastic Industry, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related fields) or higher.
Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive industry, including exposure to at least two different functions (e.g., Plant Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Program Quality Engineer).

Proven experience managing customer relationships and customer quality requirements.

Previous experience managing programs across multiple sites.

Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and processes.Knowledge of metrology and measurement systems.

Experience in Software, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering.

Knowledge of Faurecia Excellence System (FES) and Quality System Efficiency (QSE) for internal candidates

Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Are you ready to lead quality initiatives and represent the voice of the customer in a dynamic environment? Forvia is seeking a talented Program Quality Leader to join our team at our innovative facility.
As a Program Quality Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying initial Program Quality objectives, developing quality management plans, and ensuring regular follow-up.
- Achieving Quality objectives, including Safety & Regulation and Environmental standards, and cascading them to internal and external suppliers.
- Monitoring objective achievement through risk assessment based on FMEA, Special characteristics, capabilities, PPM, and more.
- Having the authority to halt any process or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance.
- Approving Design Validation Plans and Production Validation Tests, ensuring completion according to program milestones.
- Leading the development and production process for measurement, checking, and testing fixtures and gauges.
- Defining control plans and ensuring conformity, perceived quality, and traceability of parts delivered to the customer.
- Preparing and compiling Production Part Approval files and supporting the Plant Quality Engineer for initial sample submission.
- Leading relations with Customer Program Quality and applying Program Management System and Engineering Change Management standards.
