Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:
To lead and manage the software and system testing function for both internal software tools and embedded systems used in SMT processes and automotive products, including camera and display audio systems. This role ensures that all software and hardware integrations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance, in compliance with automotive industry requirements.

The main mission of the role are:

• Develop and implement testing strategies for internal software tools and embedded automotive systems (camera, display audio).
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, driving technical growth and project alignment.
• Define and manage the full software testing lifecycle: planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Oversee functional, image quality, display, connectivity, CAN/LIN, environmental, and HIL testing for automotive systems.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and maintain complete documentation for audits and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production, Customer Engineering) to resolve issues and ensure product readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and team capabilities.
• Provide progress updates, risk assessments, and support customer audits as the testing subject matter expert.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. 

Professional Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience in software/system testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in automotive electronics (camera, infotainment, ADAS, or similar systems).
• Proficient in testing tools and protocols: CANoe, CANalyzer, JIRA, Jenkins, Python scripting, etc.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of automotive standards and quality systems is essential.

Skills and competencies:

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Good interpersonal skill and Pro-active.
• Good command to communicate in English (Good-Business level)
