Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) is a global player in the automotive industry. FCM South Africa is looking for a Quality Graduate to be based at our plant in Port Elizabeth.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 
The Yes Graduate will responsible for implementing process control programs that will assure production of finished goods that meet or exceed customer-specified requirements. He/she leads continuous improvements by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and provide data analysis. 

The main missions will be to gain development and learning on the following:
•    Conduct multiple projects simultaneously ranging from feasibility phase to post launch quality assessment and throughout production life
•    Facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with advanced quality-planning activities and monitor the status throughout production life
•    Develop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques
•    Assure compliance of the documented quality system (IAFT 16949) and promote consistency throughout the organization
•    Conduct investigations to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for corrective action
•    Maintain customer complaint log and facilitate and participate in multiple 8D’s and in the corrective action process; and ensure timeous feedback on the customer portals and Faurecia portals
•    Instruct and train personnel in techniques and use of audit and testing devices
•    Monitor and revise quality documentation as required
•    Review all production methods for compliance to quality standards and for improvement of product and quality standards
•    Perform all responsibilities with IAFT 16949 system requirements
•    Maintain customer specific requirements and audits
•    Facilitate PPAP runs in plant and PPAP Packages with customers
•    Act as customer representative in all customer activities

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 
The ideal graduate will have/be: 
•    NDIP or B- Tech in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
•    Knowledge / understanding of Quality Core tools
•    Strong analytical and problem solving-skills required
•    Strong customer satisfaction orientation.
•    Age between 18-35
•    Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before
