Minimum education level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in production or mechanical engineering
Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the auto industry. (Essential knowledge in assembling complete seat parts).
Skills and competencies
- Technically skilled on product and process design, such as FMEA, TAKT time, and ergonomics
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- International mindset, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
- English required, other languages are a plus.
- Desirable knowledge of assembly lines (Poka-Yoke, PLCs, controls and parameters in automated lines).
- Quality systems (IATF 16949) (VDA). Proprietary tools or internal development.
- Personnel management.
- Core Tools (Control Plan, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
- Specific Customer Requirements. (PCS-S-EES-6099 Matrix of general plant courses as applicable as priorities).
- Lean Manufacturing Tools.
- Competencies (Customer Focus, Learning agility, Politica Savy, Drive Result, Collaborates with other, Cultivate Innovation).
- Comply with the company's code of ethics and values.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities
- Standardize and optimize production processes, improve productivity and efficiency through the application of FES tools, also participating in multidisciplinary teams for the introduction of new projects in accordance with the requirements of the PMS (Program Management System).
- Audit workstations to optimize them based on FES methodologies.
- Modify and create documents for the shop floor, provide training to users and maintain the current document control, keeping the digital folders update.
- Implementation of production process improvements.
- Design or modified production processes to shop floor.
- Establish and monitor process parameters.
- Participate in QRCI meetings (8D Methodology).
- Participate in the assigned multidisciplinary New Projects teams.Participate in the development of the FMEA and WI for the processes.
- Prepare required reports, dayli reports and update KPI´s.
- Design and define AGREPT and implement tools for ergonomic risk reduction.
- Promote process improvement by generating improvement ideas.
- Develop and update area flowcharts.
- Develop and update area layouts as needed.
- Audit machine and operator cycle time studies when necessary.(Cmk studies).
- Digitally validate work instruction sheets (WIS) and 5s instructions.
- Follow up the implementation and adherence to standardized work procedures.
- Review the packaging to be used and the packaging process required according to the product or subassembly
