Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The main objectives of the role are:
Coordinate GAP activities to achieve results, managing the duties of assigned staff and ensuring the application of FES methodologies.

 
Responsibilities and activities:

Frequent:

Coordinate the duties of MOD staff to comply with the area's production program.
Monitor applicable production, quality, and safety indicators (KATA).
Participate in problem-solving groups that involve you.
Verify the order and cleanliness of the area based on the 5S methodology.
Validate the HIT Standard Work Method and/or the Process Engineer for timely preparation or updating.
Organize TOP 5 and TOP 30 communication meetings in the different GAPs under your responsibility.
Participate in and follow up on HOSHIN activities carried out in your area.
Verify the attendance of your GAPs through daily roll call, taking the appropriate actions to prevent absenteeism.
Follow your daily activities by applying your Daily Work Routine.
Validate and enforce the daily routines of your GAP Leaders.
Monitor the correct implementation and application of FES Methodologies and keep track of and record the results.
Use and enforce the use of work uniforms in accordance with established regulations.
Develop and follow up on the staff rotation plan in their positions, according to IP/HSE criteria.Ensure the proper training of new members in their area of work to integrate them into the GAP.
Motivate and encourage process improvement through the generation of Improvement Ideas, as well as monitor the response and timely implementation of these ideas.
Follow up on the multi-skilling matrix and training plan, motivating staff and evaluating their mastery of ILUO positions.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

 

Education: Internal Development, High School, Industrial Engineering, Mechanics, related fields.

Advanced English

Experience 2 YEARS MINIMUM

Desirable: knowledge of manufacturing processes in industrial sewing and cutting.
Similar position preferably within the automotive industry.

Required technical skills:

Office software

Knowledge of IATF16949 or equivalent quality systems.

Problem-solving methodology (QRCI KATA, 8D's or equivalent).
