Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of a local IT technician is to ensure that the Group’s hardware, software, security policies, software license management, inventory, and other related matters are properly maintained. They also provide technical support to users and follow up on the resolution of IT incidents reported by users.

 

The main missions of the role are:

 

  • Ensure compliance with Group standards regarding hardware, software, security policies, software license management, inventory, etc.
  • Provide technical support to users and follow up on the resolution of IT incidents reported by users.
  • Develop and monitor the plant’s IT budget, issuing and approving all IT-related purchases.
  • Conduct LPA audits.
  • Monitor requests for new plant projects related to IT.
  • Enforce user compliance with procedures. If necessary, coordinate user training and ensure proper implementation of these procedures.
  • Monitor critical IT processes and equipment as defined by the Group and the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with the code of ethics and management code, with the responsibility to report any incidents and act accordingly in accordance with group regulations.
  • Share knowledge with other IT technicians to support their duties.
  • Participate in internal or external audits applicable to the site.

 

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level: 

  • Bachelor degree in Information Tecnologies or related fields.

Experience:

  • Automotive Industry
  • Technical Support for Users

Skills & Competencies:

  • Computer Hardware and Peripherals Architecture.

  • Hardware and Software Installation and Configuration.

  • Networks (WAN, LAN, Wired, Wireless, etc.) and Telephony.

  • Conocimiento básico de instrucciones de BD SQL Server.

  • Windows Server operating system.
