Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • The Chemical Engineer is responsible for the formulation and chemistry of polyurethanes/polymers.
  • Design and optimization of foam production processes, resulting in waste reduction.
  • Implement rigorous quality control protocols to ensure consistency of the final product (density, compression strength, etc.).
  • Development and control of foam formulations.
  • Assistance in solving quality issues with final products.
  • Provide technical support for statistical process control and assist in waste reduction to generate cost savings.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimumeducation level 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.

Professional Experience 

  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the auto industry.

Skills and competencies

  • Knowledge of polymer chemistry and polyurethane foam processes.
  • Experience in process optimization and quality control systems.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Technical expertise in chemical formulation and process design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
