Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Responsibilities
- The Chemical Engineer is responsible for the formulation and chemistry of polyurethanes/polymers.
- Design and optimization of foam production processes, resulting in waste reduction.
- Implement rigorous quality control protocols to ensure consistency of the final product (density, compression strength, etc.).
- Development and control of foam formulations.
- Assistance in solving quality issues with final products.
- Provide technical support for statistical process control and assist in waste reduction to generate cost savings.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in the auto industry.
Skills and competencies
- Knowledge of polymer chemistry and polyurethane foam processes.
- Experience in process optimization and quality control systems.
- Familiarity with statistical process control tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Technical expertise in chemical formulation and process design.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
