Your mission, roles and responsibilities

As a Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator, you will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance of all site facilities and general services, supporting a safe, sustainable, and productive working environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and manage general services such as cafeteria, cleaning, and workplace amenities
  • Coordinate facilities operations, including elevators, HVAC systems, water dispensers, solar panels, wastewater treatment plant, and maintenance areas
  • Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for building systems and infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, legal requirements, and certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, LEED, among others)
  • Support audits and inspections, ensuring timely follow-up of action plans and corrective measures
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper implementation of operational controls and procedures
  • Manage supplier relationships, permits, and contractor activities to ensure safety and service quality
  • Control budget, purchasing processes, and cost optimization initiatives related to facilities operations
  • Monitor waste management, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives across the site
  • Lead or coordinate small teams and external service providers, ensuring service delivery and performance

Your profile and competencies to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Proven experience in facilities management-maintenance
  • Experience working with management systems and audits (ISO standards, legal compliance, certifications)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, utilities)
  • Experience in supplier management, contractor coordination, and interaction with governmental authorities
  • Budget management and procurement experience
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • Intermediate English level
