Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Join our dynamic team as the Division Digital Transformation Manager and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our organization. As a global leader in automotive technology, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Overall responsibilities and duties:

Promote the implementation of projects linked to Digital Transformation in his/her scope to improve operational performance in accordance with the BG strategy.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Define the Digital and automation strategy
  • Confirm standard solutions
  • Maintain an active tech-watch (external) and identify best practices (Internal)
  • Build and manage the portfolio of innovations according to the BG strategy, involving Divisions and plants
  • Define a Roadmap - Priorities, timing, capex, costs and savings commitments included in the StratPlan, Budget and Forecast processes
  • Ensure resources are allocated upon need to Digital and Automation projects
  • Control and management of DT CAPEX with each plant (PRs, POs, ...), Preparation and presentation of CAR for CAPEX request with each level (Div, BG, ...) for each plant.
  • Deploy standards defined by BG / Group
  • Improve standards
  • Train on standards (Assessment, Train the trainers, training package material), coach and support
  • Define and implement the change management plans
  • Set up appropriate governance, animate the network, build strong partnerships with all key stakeholders. Risk management and alert process
  • Follow up Deployment and operational performance: Adherence to Roadmap, P&L and Cash impact, # standard tools deployed, usage, # ideas implemented
  • Share Best Practices and lessons learnt (capitalized project experience)

Your profile and competencies to succeed

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years in a similar role in a Manufacturing company working on automation, implementation of IA  in multisties, ideally at NAO level
    • Knowledge of pull system
    • Knowledge in digital transformation in operations
    • Knowledge of connectivity, automation, data driven
    • Knowledge of P&L (Capex/Opex)
  • Deep understanding of lean manufacturing and Operations demonstrated through previous successful experiences
  • Leadership, capacity to animate workshop and influence networks
  • Good interpersonal and multi-cultural communication skills. 
  • Fluent English language knowledge: written and spoken.
  • Curiosity on new technologies and tools, Ability to challenge habits / Openness to new ideas
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to drive change management
  • Customer and Business understanding: ability to understand and manage the different customer requirements and work within a matrix environment.
