Job Description: 

Your mission, roles, and responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze customer RFQ Package and manage the Product & Process Definition, establishing the Bill Of Material (BOM) and all technical files required to meet EFM deliverables. These may include section files, RPS, tolerance stacks, functional analysis, KPC/KCC, benchmarking etc…
  • Lead technical convergence through involvement of all required stakeholders (Manufacturing, PLTE, Innovation, Benchmarking, Costing etc…) in line with the quality, cost and planning targets.
  • Identify technical risks, manage detailed analysis and communicate them to the development teams to ensure a successful launch in production.
  • Be the interface with the customer’s engineering team, ensuring understanding of technical requirements and presenting all technical aspects of FIS submissions and quotes during customer reviews.
  • Ensure documentation is according to requirements (Tiger, PALM, Technical Files etc…).
  • Manage Phase 1 PMS technical milestones by preparing evidence for all tasks and leading the EFM1 and EFM2 reviews on time.
  • In case of pre-development activity, functionally manage the technical support team. Can include Product Design Engineers, Process, Tool & Equipment engineers, etc.
  • Implementation of the regional department objectives
  • Allocate project hours within each relevant valid system, e.g. SAP
  • Propose innovation alternatives to the customer defined concept.

 

Your profile and competencies to succeed:

 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing or significant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Design & Development within an industrial environment, preferably automotive interior parts.
  • Good understanding of CAD software.
  • Good knowledge of interior parts design (architecture, requirements), manufacturing processes and tooling (Premium Wrapping)
  • English advanced.
  • Strong knowledge on Premium Wrapping processes
  • High level of accuracy and logical background to build the BOM correctly and understand costing development.
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers at all hierarchic levels, communicating with credibility and confidence to create intimacy and trust.
