Your mission, roles and responsibilities
FORVIA is committed to leading the way in safety and sustainable industrial development. As an HSE Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering a culture of health and safety, and contributing to our sustainable future.
As HSE Specialist, your key responsibilities will be:
- Analyze the site risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety; and respect of the environment
- Propose an annual HSE action plan to the site managem
- Support engineering team with HSE portions of SOP
- Participate in Faurecia's HSE network and HSE reporting for the Faurecia group
- Monitor legal compliance and manage the site's relations with local government and regulatory organizations
- Monitor the reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data, ...)
- Organize and drive HSE audits and trainings
- Carry out and investigate accident enquiries and lead preventative initiatives
- Investigate and Manage Worker’s Compensation Claims
- Represent company where needed in Worker’s Compensation Hearings
- Manage return to work and safety program
- Ensure environmental testing is completed
- Conduct Core safety team audits and bi-weekly safety meetings
- Responsible for plant environmental legal compliance
- Administer the safety eyewear and safety shoe program.
- Prepare and maintain current legal and governmental medical and company reporting requirements and analyze data. Maintain employee administrative records according to standards of confidentiality as required by OSHA, professional ethics codes and individual state privacy acts.

Minimum education level:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a specialization in HSE and/or a significant equivalent experience in an industrial environment,
Professional Experience:
- Knowledge of the tools and methodologies HSE necessary to evaluate and prevent the security and environmental risks and impacts: risk analysis, data collection, problem solving, etc.,
- Knowledge of the national regulations and standards specific to the scope of his activity,
- Internal lead-auditor in terms of HSE management systems,
- Fluent oral and written English.
