Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Our [CFAP] is looking for a Product Design Engineer for its [Design Team] at [Chongqing].
Product Design Dngineers are responsible for the design and development of new or existing products based on plans, processes, quality, and cost objectives. He/she conducts complete engineering design, converts it into CAD models/2D drawings, and writes all relevant documents to support subsequent product development. The main tasks of this position are:

Starting from conceptual design (renderings, initial CAS surface analysis), complete relevant designs, freeze data, and support subsequent product development and production.

Conduct feasibility analysis based on product processing technology, provide improvement suggestions, and communicate with customers to promote problem resolution.

Manage the release and modification of engineering documents and data.

According to the project design cycle milestones, decompose and develop corresponding design plans to ensure that the design is completed according to the milestones.

Familiar with following government and customer regulations and rules, based on the results of design assistance inspections and reviews, provide corresponding solutions to ensure the reliability of the design.

Support all design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) analysis studies.

Familiar with the customer's CAD data integrity requirements and apply them according to the requirements.

Participate in managing external CAD operators.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Having experience in the field of design and development, automotive interior design is the most ideal.
- Familiar with design standards and processes, with experience in Ford and Changan design projects preferred.
- Proficient in using CATIA software, 3D/2D modeling, and mastering knowledge related to GD&T and dimension chains.
- Familiar with the basic design requirements of the main manufacturing processes.
- Teamwork spirit and strong communication skills.
- Proficient in English is preferred.
