Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The PML is a member of the central engineering team. Responsible for all manufacturing deliverables for a program of medium complexity—from the design validation phase through SOP + 6 months. Functionally manages the program’s manufacturing team. Ensures manufacturability. Develops and validates the program’s complete production system.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

- Ensure manufacturing feasibility by reviewing drawings in the early stages of the program with the entire core team.
- Implement all production system changes related to product modifications (in accordance with Engineering Change Management).
- Study, develop in detail, monitor, validate, approve, and implement the entire manufacturing process, including, but not limited to: process flowcharts, plant layout, definition of equipment and tools, utilities, and material and information flow analysis, in accordance with Group standards and program objectives.
- Support Quality and Operations with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including Series Production Testing and Extended Series Production Testing.
- Review all financial opportunities and risks with the program controller.
- Manage the tracking of timelines, budgets, and KPIs through monthly reports.
- Ensure that manufacturing milestones are successfully met on time.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Engineering degree

5+ years of experience in manufacturing for projects in the automotive industry 

Project Management

English: Ability to interact in a foreign environment 

Experience in Welding, assembly & metal processes & products

Hability to work within global organization
