Your mission, roles and responsibilities
As a Quality Laboratory Trainee Technician, you will analyze products to ensure compliance and support problem-solving initiatives within the production environment
Key Responsibilities:
Create and validate instructions for measuring equipment, including R&R studies.
Conduct laboratory and special measurements, such as macrography, for:
Incoming inspections according to the control plan
PPAP parts (customer and supplier)
Product audits and QRCI analyses
Sampling inspections and process trials
Ensure 3D measurements comply with relevant national and international standards.
Manage calibration plans and R&R studies for measuring equipment (planning, execution, documentation).
Perform product audits (macrography, layout inspection, etc.).
Escalate non-conforming products or risks to the Customer & Production Quality Assurance and Quality Manager.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field).
Experience
First exposure to quality or manufacturing environments (internships, academic projects, or apprenticeships) is a plus.
Interest in problem-solving and shopfloor activities.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with multiple teams.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Basic knowledge of GD&T and 3D measurements.
Understanding of welding analysis and measuring equipment.
Awareness of ISO standards, preferably IATF 16949.
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control tools and Excel.
Experience with industrial management systems (SAP or similar) is a plus.
Enthusiastic about learning and continuous improvement.
