Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Overall responsibilities and duties:
Be a leader of HSE (Health Safety & Environment) to ensure and allocate the necessary resources to maintain HSE programs, encourage and motivate MOD personnel to actively participate in Hazzard Hunting and maintaining leadership as an agent of HSE cultural change.
Ensuring a strict adherence to all established TCS (Total Customer Satisfaction) standards on the shopfloor, as well as ensure the commitment of supervisors to comply with LPAs programs and Ok First part routines, full involvement in 8QBs programs, be a leader in developing 8D, as well total involvement in customer reception activities on the shopfloor.
Develop the UAP team in such a way as to maintain the functionality and autonomy of all areas in terms of Quality, Processes, Manufacturing and Maintenance. Develop and execute the annual training plan for the MOI & MOD. Be a leader deploying and coaching according to FES policies to achieve excellence in the fundamentals of production, consolidation of the role of supervisor and gap leadership.
Ensure full compliance with the production plan (PDP), as well as be a leader in the continuous improvement of DLE or TRS.
Ensure total control of inventories, obsolescence, and scrap. In the same way, the execution in return of materials to PC&L; the optimal maintenance of the WOs in SAP
The main missions of the role are:
Be a leader of the daily top 5 in the shopfloor with all their staff to ensure the communication with collaborators on existing priorities, to organize, distribute workloads in their control section and comply with objectives.
Update the monthly Scorecard management by UAP according with the KPIs, OARS and IDP (if apply), to ensure the correct deployment through PIP (Plan Improvement Plan), Pareto Analysis and Action Plan definition.
Continuous reviews with all production areas to ensure correct compliance with the established requirements.
Analyses in conjunction with their collaborator’s reports sent by quality control, to take corrective and preventive measures to improve the quality of the product.
Maintains general control over the inventory of the productions work centers, through the analysis of reports prepared by the production and materials control staff or generated by other areas.
Analyses quality problems with their collaborators to solve them through corrective and
preventive actions, focused on reducing the levels of rejections.
Promote and ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and objectives of the company, fostering a preventive culture, continuous improvement, and shared accountability, in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Ensure the proper implementation and monitoring of FORVIA corporate policies, as well as their effective integration into daily operations and strategic site decision-making, guaranteeing readiness, compliance, and effective response to internal, external, and customer audits.
Support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site’s management systems.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Bachelor´s degree in Electronic, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics and equivalent.
Experience:
5 years of experience in production area as Superintendent production, Sr. Production Supervisor, in electronics sector.
2 years of experience in manager operations electronics
Skills and competencies
• Advance English
• Requires initiative to foresee, solve and decide on production related problems, as well as to propose new methods, systems, procedures and improvements that contribute to improve productivity results and the achievement of objectives.
• KPI improvement (Scrap, OEE, DLE, TRS, PPM)
• Basic knowledge of Mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards.
• Knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
