The role like Supplier Quality Development Engineer is in charge of developing supplier QCD performance for a defined list of suppliers. He/she supports the series buyers to organize and follow-up the quality systems and performance of critical suppliers.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Promote the deployment of Supplier Excellence System tools at Suppliers
Ensure/organize and coordinate the related Supplier Development actions, based on inputs from assessments, supplier nomination committee, Program or Series escalation    
Carry out improvement/convergence plan with Red list Suppliers (as defined from red list or requested by commodity)
Improve the QCD performance for the list of dedicated suppliers through Supplier Development activities
Perform assessment according to FAURECIA standards and supports the Commodity buyer to obtain efficient action plan.
Train the suppliers to FAURECIA tools:  QSE/ 7 Basics, PSE and others
Give recommendations for supplier selection in programs and series


Key requirements:

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in industry in Supplier development 
Quality Experience and / or Production Experience                
GD&T, Core tools, 
Problem Solving
