The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Your position and environment?
We are looking for an HR HR Controlling VIE who will provide support to the HEADQUARTERS DIV SHARED SERVICES , and who will be based in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.  

 

About the Role:

As a VIE HR Controlling, you will support the management of global Corporate/Headquarters headcount planning. You will play a key role in ensuring workforce decisions are aligned with business priorities, budget constraints, and forecast assumptions.

  • Workforce Planning & Headcount Monitoring

    • Monitor worldwide Corporate/Headquarters headcount evolution against approved budget and forecast.
    • Track hiring activities and workforce movements, identifying potential deviations from approved plans.
    • Support the preparation of monthly headcount and workforce planning reviews.

    Hiring Governance & Exception Requests

    • Coordinate the review of hiring exception requests across Corporate/ HQR.
    • Verify alignment of recruitment requests with approved headcount budgets and workforce forecasts.
    • Challenge and validate assumptions with HR Business Partners and Finance stakeholders when needed.

    Forecast & Cost Control Support

    • Monitor the execution of workforce-related initiatives designed to secure budget and forecast targets.
    • Support the preparation of workforce forecasts and scenario analyses.

    HR Analytics & Decision Support

    • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools.
    • Perform ad hoc analyses on workforce, organizational, and talent topics for senior HR leadership.
    • Support the Talent & Organization Development (TOD) team with strategic analyses and presentations.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Participate in the enhancement of HR controlling processes, reporting tools, and governance mechanisms.
    • Contribute to data quality initiatives and reporting automation.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Profile

Education

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and transform them into actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.

Languages

  • Fluent English required.
