Your mission, roles and responsibilities
- Analyse and modify PLC programs to address breakdowns or process improvements;
- Update and modify HMI consoles;
- Manage backups of PLC, robot and peripheral equipment programs, ensuring they are always available and up to date;
- Manage hierarchical access levels to equipment, ensuring standardisation and proposing solutions that guarantee product quality and the safety of people and machines;
- Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and improvement activities, particularly in power and control systems;
- Actively participate in ABC analysis of costs and downtime, proposing optimisation solutions;
- Promote knowledge sharing within the team regarding new technologies and industrial automation devices;
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment;
- Perform tasks in full compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements;
- Carry out duties in a disciplined and responsible manner, in accordance with the company’s Quality, Environment and Safety policies, contributing to continuous improvement, accident prevention and environmental protection.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Ability to work in shifts;
- Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Automation, or a related field;
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the automotive or metalworking industry;
- Solid knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar) and HMI systems;
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics;
- Familiarity with robotics systems and industrial automation technologies is an advantage;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility and proactive attitude;
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles.
