What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?
The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What will be your main missions?
Our (Region+Division) is looking for a R&D VIE to be based at its plant at (Location+Country).
The R&D VIE plans and executes complete engineering design products or specific projects, from initial design concept through to production release and post-production support, for source automotive seat products.
Your main missions will be to
- Formulates, recommends, and implements all phases of a seat design project to complete within budget and to meet customer-determined project milestones and completion dates.
- Lead the execution of other duties and special projects as assigned
- Produces designs that are feasible and economical to produce in the manufacturing facilities and processes available
- Ensures that all appropriate tests are performed
- Assists in the achievement of program targets through direct participation in customer presentations
The mission will last (Length of Assignment).
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent in English
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Understanding of print reading and tolerances
- Knowledge/experience working with mechanical devices
- Knowledge of automotive seating applications and requirements preferred
- Ability to visualize 3D using a CAD viewer.
- Knowledge of testing methods and standards
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
