Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Mission Summary
The Toolmaker / Process Development Technician is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and fine-tuning welding and assembly tooling. They contribute to bringing manufacturing processes into production by ensuring tooling reliability, product quality, and operational efficiency.

Main Missions
• Set up, adjust, and operate tooling and equipment (Welding tools and assembly) including basic pneumatic and electrical modifications (sensors, cylinder, ..).
• Compare inspection results (dimensional & macrographic) with product drawings to identify deviations and implement on tooling the necessary adjustments (clamps, part positioning, … )
• Participate in tooling design to provide pratical feedback (robustness and feasibility)
• Implement corrective actions to ensure tooling & equipment performance (sensors, poka-yoke systems, cylinders, etc.).
• Use in-house machining resources when authorized to adapt or repair tooling.

• Set up, adjust, and validate equipment and tools up to final acceptance
• Support and advise suppliers during equipment and tooling start-up phases.
Process Development
• Define process solutions and ensure proper application.
• Apply strong mechanical and maintenance expertise.
• Support team in maintenance, quality issues, and efficiency improvements.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as technician in an industrial environment (preferred).
• Experience in tooling commissioning, tuning and maintenance.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environments.
• Able to communicate (spoken) in English at a practical working level (full fluency is not required).
• Ability to work in a shop-floor and automotive manufacturing environment.
• Ready to travel across Europe as required by projects (approximately 30% to 60% of the time).
