Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of the Production Coordinator sr consists of supporting the effective operation of the UAP as well as monitoring HR issues for its members, through teamwork, continuous improvement and the development of people within the framework of the Faurecia System of Excellence (FES) and the Being Faurecia culture.  in addition to promoting the culture of environmental care in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and CT-PAT standards applicable to production.  
  • Monitoring of control points and alert system in 2nd shift.
  • Punctual monitoring of the indicators and production plans of the UAP in 2nd shift.
  • Implement action plans to increase the functionality/productivity of the production programo Lead the company's Quality, Cost, Delivery and Personnel (QCDP) objectives and ensure that its areas of responsibility meet the performance goals.
  • Know, interpret and implement the quality basics in their areas of responsibility to avoid sending defective product to the customer.o Implementation and improvement of standardized work in the UAP.
  • Strict adherence to the standards of 5'o Establish communication with the UAP Manager, Production Supervisors of other shifts, and support functions to collaborate with the flow of transparent information.
  • Manage workshops to improve efficiency,  quality and reduction of waste in their areas (HOSHIN, SMED)
  • Ensure the correct staff of the UAPo Validation of the attendance and overtime of the personnel in their charge to ensure the correct payment of their salaries.
  • Seek the professional development of the personnel in their charge, making the job evaluations in a timely manner as established in the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Know,  Interpret and apply the internal work regulationso Ensure that the personnel in charge have and use Personal Protective Equipment correctly.
  • Manage the training of the personnel in their charge.
  • Ensure that working conditions are fully compatible with safety requirements. Implementation and monitoring of mandatory safety rules within their areas of responsibility.
  • Commit to receive the appropriate training for their job according to the schedule defined by Management, as well as put into practice the knowledge acquired in said training as part of a process of continuous improvement.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

  • Preferably Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or relate

Experience:

  • Know processes in the automotive industry. 
  • Availability to work shifts or Knowledge of production processes (Kanban, 5s, Hoshin, TPM, GPAO)o Knowledge of QRCI, Core Tools, PC&L Basics, HSE Regulations.
  • Customer requirements.o Intermediate-advanced English
