FORVIA Allenjoie
Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) is looking for a Production Supervisor (M/F) for its Allenjoie site, located 20 minutes from Belfort and Montbéliard, near the Swiss and German borders. The Allenjoie FCM site manufactures and assembles advanced emission reduction solutions as well as hydrogen storage systems.
Votre mission, rôle et responsabilités
Reporting to the UAP Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the operational management of production teams within their area. He/she ensures the smooth running of daily production, in compliance with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Environment (SQCDP) requirements, as well as FORVIA standards and processes.
As a field manager, the Production Supervisor organizes, coordinates, and supports teams in order to achieve industrial performance goals. He/she ensures the implementation of work standards, compliance with HSE rules, and the quality of manufactured products, while also maintaining production continuity and responsiveness to unforeseen events.
A key player in the FORVIA Excellence System (FES), the Production Supervisor develops employees' skills, autonomy, and engagement, and actively contributes to the continuous improvement and operational excellence efforts within the UAP, in close collaboration with support functions.
Significant Activities:
The main tasks associated with the role are as follows:
Manage Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance in your area:
- Ensure full compliance of working conditions with the Group's HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards: intervene in the production line in case of safety risks and drive the improvement of working conditions and ergonomics.
- Lead QCD initiatives: define targets, implement plans, monitor daily results, and make appropriate adjustments in resource scheduling to achieve the desired results.
- Conduct improvement actions: communicate with the UAP Manager, production supervisors from other areas, and support functions to ensure transparent information flow, work collaboratively to identify improvement areas, and clarify action plans.
- Leading team performance: understanding team issues, identifying areas for performance improvement with team members, guiding teamwork, leading problem-solving groups, driving quality improvement projects (5S, TPM, 6M, etc.).
Managing the relevant team personnel:
- Managing the team on a daily basis: ensuring adequate staffing levels, guaranteeing adherence to standard work, being present on the floor to answer questions or address issues.
- Developing the team: ensuring adequate skill levels, onboarding new team members, handling individual development plans, advising on and arranging appropriate training, conducting occasional job assessments, etc.
Profil et compétences requises pour réussir
Technical Skills:
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) ideally with a specialization in production
- Professional experience in production (1 to 3 years), ideally in automotive production
- Professional experience in team management – minimum 1 year, ideally 3 years
- Good practical knowledge of production methods (Kanban, 5S, Hoshin, TPM, MRP, etc.), ideally in an automotive environment
- Professional-level English, both spoken and written – minimum B2, ideally C1
Professional Behavioral Skills:
- Good, ideally strong, problem analysis and solving abilities
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills required – ideally strong
- Ability to combine vision with clear objectives
- Ability to manage complexity effectively
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Capacity to take a step back in all situations (conflict management, etc.)
