Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:
Within the plant, manage processes and people.
The main missions of the role are:
o    Ensure that series production meets customer requirements,

o    Support to the continuous improvement process,

o    Ensure the plant readiness to launch successful new programs,

o    Manage and report key ME indicators.
Series production :

o    Procurement of manufacturing equipment under consideration of demanded, security, quality and environmental protection and their preservation,
o    Equipment and tooling follow-up,
o    Support the engineering change management process,
o    Update manufacturing routines and work instructions,
o    Keep processes (machines, tools, procedures) at best possible level in compliance with HSE regulations and QCD,
o    Build the engineering budget and the plant CAPEX; and ensure their application,
o    Management of the plant central maintenance,
o    Monitor capacity utilization,
o    Keep plant lay-out updated,
o    Plan, monitor and coordinate the work of external companies, 
o    Create and introduce procedures regarding the tasks of his field of responsibility
o    Support problem solving initiatives.
Continuous improvement process: 
Support the continuous improvement process in the following areas: Labor, Quality, Equipment and tooling, Space, Work conditions.

Plant readiness to launch new programs:
o    Participate in the definition of the production process and selection of machines and tools,
o    Define plant layout to support new product launches in line with MIFA,
o    Oversee the installation process of new machines and equipment,
o    Support production in the start of new processes to ensure a successful SOP (initial samples, run @ rate, work instructions).

People Management:
o    Staff, train, coach, assess and develop the plant ME team (direct or dotted line),
o    Support and train other networks/functions (PSE, QSE…),
o    Participation in the management of the expertise network (knowledge capitalization).

Reporting:
o    Manage ME key indicators (TRS: change over, cycle time, reliability…).

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Master’s degree in engineering preferred,
Experience : At least 5 years of experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering,
Skills and competencies
o    Trained in Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management System,
o    Basic financial skills (costing, budget, investment),
o    Leadership skills,
o    Ability to interface with other functions - Networking capabilities,
o    Strong TPM & PM backgroun required, 
o    Machine controls (PLC programming) , robotic automation skills,
o    strong technical problem solving using machine data and data analytics
o    International mindset,
o    English required,
o    Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
