Treasury Manager NAO

ROLE PURPOSE
The Treasury Regional Manager leads treasury operations across the region. The role secures liquidity, optimizes cash, manages financial risk and banking relationships, and supports the region’s financing needs, operating within global treasury policies and controls and reporting to the Global Head of Treasury.


KEY MISSIONS
–    Manage daily cash positioning, liquidity, and short- and long-term cash-flow forecasting across the region.
–    Optimize cash through pooling and concentration, minimize idle balances, and ensure funds are available for operations and capital expenditure.
–    Lead regional cash-flow forecasting and working-capital monitoring, partnering with FP&A and Region / Division / Global Finance team.
–    Manage intercompany funding, in-house bank / cash pooling, and regional funding needs in coordination with Global Treasury.
–    Oversee debt servicing, credit facilities, guarantees, and local financing arrangements within the region.
–    Identify and manage foreign-exchange exposures and execute hedging within respective policies.
–    Support interest-rate and counterparty-risk management and related treasury risk reporting.
–    Manage regional banking relationships, account structures, bank fees, and cash-management services.
–    Govern bank accounts (opening / closing, signatories, KYC) and drive account rationalization.
–    Ensure treasury operations comply with internal controls, company policies, SOX / ICFR (where applicable), and local regulations across the Region.
–    Deploy and optimize the treasury management system (TMS), payment platforms, and automation, and safeguard against payment fraud.
–    Review and authorize treasury transactions, payments, and account reconciliations.
–    Coordinate with Tax on intercompany agreements, funding structures, and repatriation.
–    Provide treasury reporting (cash, liquidity, FX, debt) to Global Treasury and regional finance leadership, and support budgeting and capital planning with treasury input.
–    Coordinate with local finance teams, shared services, and external partners, and drive continuous improvement and treasury digitalization in the region.


EXPERIENCE
10+ years of relevant experience in treasury or corporate finance, including multi-country cash, liquidity, and FX management, ideally in an automotive or manufacturing multinational. Professional certification such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is preferred; CFA, CPA, or ACCA is an advantage.


EDUCATION
Master’s degree or equivalent level in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

–    Solid foreign-exchange and financial-risk management capability, including hedging.
–    Strong banking-relationship management and treasury-operations command.
–    Proficiency with treasury systems (TMS), treasury digitalization, and payment security.

–    Effective multi-country coordination, with strong stakeholder management (International Treasury, Tax, FP&A, and local finance).
–    Fluency in English; other language command is an asset when applicable.
–    Willingness to travel within the region as required.
