Role objectives
Manage human and material resources to meet the production schedules required by the customer—in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines—by applying Lean Manufacturing methodologies to achieve the plant's objectives.
Activities and responsibilities
Frequent: o Review and monitor area indicators. o Review, monitor, and ensure adherence to the production schedule. o Manage the area's headcount, maintaining authorized staffing levels based on plant efficiency and productivity while adhering to established "Human Organization of Production" criteria. o Ensure KPI impact objectives are met through the Manager's daily routine. o Use appropriate communication channels to timely escalate issues, opportunities for improvement, or proposed enhancements. o Follow up on actions to ensure customer quality standards. o Monitor the correct application of relevant Quality System procedures. o Follow up on continuous process improvement actions (improvement ideas, PDCA, 8Ds, KATQ, standardized work, etc.). o Conduct internal safety audits and follow-ups. o Comply with and enforce internal workplace regulations. o Monitor the training of assigned personnel in accordance with company requirements. o Participate in "Top 30" and "Top 60" meetings, as well as other required area meetings. o Promote process improvement by generating improvement ideas. o Ensure the correct application of FES methodologies and guidelines, particularly those regarding Personnel Involvement, Quality System Efficiency, and Production Systems (IP, QSE, ESP, PC&L, and Management Control). o Adhere to and enforce company safety rules and actions derived from the Environmental Policy. o Wear and enforce the use of the work uniform according to established regulations. Occasional: o Analyze situations and take action when objectives deviate from the plan. o Conduct performance evaluations for personnel under their supervision. o Prepare the area's semi-annual budget in alignment with the medium-term Business Plan. **In addition to daily, frequent, and occasional duties, related tasks will be performed as required.
Desired candidate profile
Education: Engineering or related fields.
Advanced English Experience in: 2+ years as production manager.
Desired technical competencies
Production Management Systems.
Production problem-solving. Personnel management and labor relations. Budget management. Maintaining the quality system in accordance with company guidelines. Customer-specific requirements
